DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

How to use it: STEP 1: With your fingertip, apply a small amount of the Lice Bomb lotion to the scalp around the front hairline so as to create a barrier to prevent lice running forward from the hair and onto the face as they try to avoid the ensuing Lice Bomb solution.

STEP 2: Part the head of hair from centre forehead to nape and from ear to ear across the top of the head, to create four even primary sections. Begin by applying a small amount of lice bomb in the part line of the four sections to prevent lice from crossing from one quarter into another.

STEP 3: Once the correct sectioning has been achieved begin to take small horizontal partings through each section working from the nape to the crown applying a few drops throughout each subsection as you progress upwards. Apply enough droplets of oil as required to enable thorough coverage. Pay careful attention not to get the essential oils into the eyes as this will cause stinging (flush thoroughly with cool water if eye contact does occur).

STEP 4: Once a thin film has been achieved on the entire scalp, use the lice comb enclosed and begin to comb the hair from roots to ends. This will ensure that any head lice trying to escape the solution by travelling up the hair shaft will be removed from the hair. Wipe head lice and eggs from the fine-toothed comb on tissue as you proceed through the hair. Leave the Lice Bomb on the hair for up to ten minutes. Repeat the combing procedure at regular intervals throughout this time.

STEP 5: Use your fingernails to remove visible eggs on the hair then rinse the hair using warm water.

STEP 6: Lightly shampoo with Nit Ninja Daily Defense Shampoo to remove the oil’s residue from the hair and scalp. Follow with Nit Ninja Daily Defense Conditioner. Comb the conditioner through thoroughly to complete the therapy.

REPEAT IN 7 DAYS: Repeat the above procedure after approximately one week to ensure maximum effectiveness.

HEAD LICE PREVENTION: Use the mini-me 3-Step personal care system as your kid’s hair care regime thereafter to help prevent the chance of future head lice infestation.

When to use it: In the prevention of or the presence of head lice.

When not to use it: Head lice infestation often creates an itchy scalp that may create skin sensitivity to essential oils. Always patch-test the skin prior to application to assess sensitivity to the product. If sensitivity does occur, rinse immediately with cool water and pour cool milk (soy or cow’s milk) liberally over the affected area to soothe the skin.

Use on Sensitive Skin: To use this treatment on sensitive skin, mix 50% Lice Bomb botanical complex with 50% vegetable oil (eg. olive oil, grape seed oil, etc). Apply a small drop of the new vegetable oil blend to the scalp and evaluate the skin sensitivity level. Repeat the patch test procedure described in the ‘Usage Guidelines’ section of this guide, and continue to dilute oils as described if sensitivity persists.
